This course has been developed primarily for Occupational Health physicians who are interested in providing medicals for professional divers as part of their practice (eg. commercial divers, police dive teams, scientific divers, etc.) although any health care professional (eg. paramedics, nurses, etc.) interested in diving is welcome to audit the course. Upon successful completion of this 5-day course, physicians will qualify as a CSA Z275.2-20 Level 1 Diving Medical Examiner and can have their name listed with the Diver Certification Board of Canada (DCBC) as a physician qualified to conduct commercial diver medicals in Canada.
